The crabs are top tier. the taste has been the same great taste since I was kid but the one thing that is so frustrating is that they're hardly ever open when I call for crabs. It sucks because I really love eating here but boy oh boy Im sick of chasing them. the service is also great by the way which is why I just keep on calling

My favorite place for crabs. Codie's , stuffed shrimp, this is my seafood go to place, I love everything they make and serve, they are a small building but they provide huge flavors and tastes, even the stuffed deviled eggs are amazing, give them a try, the prices are reasonable.

Went to order crabs and most places were sold out. So i figured I'd try corned. The crabs were steamed well and meaty. I only took off a star because I think they were $10 bucks over price.

Guess who had crabs on Memorial Day weekend 2020, when a bunch of other places were sold out? Corner Crab House did, that's who! While not as peppery as my beloved Conrad's of Parkville's crab seasoning, Corner Crab House's crab seasoning was tasty. I especially enjoyed that they only lightly seasoned the crabs because I prefer light seasoning unlike HubBae & most of our friends and family. Their location is LITERALLY on a street corner, so be prepared to find parking and stroll up to plant yourself in the line of people waiting for their call ahead orders. Don't be discouraged by the back to back busy signal when you call for orders because they're............. well............. always pretty busy, I guess. LOL. When they sell out of crabs, there's a recording that plays letting you know it when you call. I appreciate that kind of efficiency and up to the hour attentiveness but would rate them 4.5 stars because some of their large sized crabs were true mediums and some mediums were more "smedium" sized. None were light and all were steamed great, but I like crab shacks to align size pretty accurately with price point. The people working at The Corner were nice and helpful, too.

Coming from a crabologist "Delicious crabs" all year!!! Money well spent every time. I'm headed there right now to get a dozen medium females which should be considered large for $40.

They have delicious crabs, but can be quite abit pricey. Ive never had an issue with customer service but Ive heard from family and friends that certain workers can be rude. I only get crabs twice a year to celebrate the holidays so I must just be lucky enough to always get a good worker. Or maybe because Im already really polite they just reflect that back. Either way my only complaint is the price but I understand from a business perspective with supply and demand why the price is higher. Maybe one day theyll get their own crab farm and grow their own crabs. That would be cool. Lolz!

NOTE TO READER: This is your resident Honeycomb Hideout Hellcat typing. The review you are about to read is for a place that is not widely known, not famous, not in any Baltimore magazine, and you may not even find it on MapQuest...but trust & believe you WILL NOT be disappointed should you venture to the east side trenches to peep this spot for your crustacean fix. Corner Crab has some of best meaty and/or juicy crabs in East Baltimore. The prices are usually what I would consider "just okay" but when you taste the crabs, the complaints about what you paid coming out of your mouth are soon forgotten as you insert a crab leg into it. I deal with this place mainly for bulk orders only because they give the best deals on bushels and even throw in random dozens for free. Also, you are entered for chances to win a free bushel during the Summer months and they hold drawings weekly! With most crab spots, whether off season or during the Summer, it's always a good idea to call ahead and find out crab prices and the availability of what you want. Same applies here. Just because this spot is small, literally on the corner and is nothing but a mere house shaped shack, don't make the mistake of thinking this place doesn't get heavy business. Crab enthusiasts from the west side of town frequent this place for special occasions requiring bulk orders of crabs. Everyone I know has also had great customer service experiences with this place so I'm thinking the last reviewer may have caught them on a bad night. Anyway, try it for yourself and see.
